There's One Born Every Minute

Suckers I am talking about, and right now that sucker is me.

We were in Toys R Us last night as DH was looking for a new game for his PSP and I mentioned that I have heard great things about the Wii Fit. We don't have a Wii so were just having a look and a chat with the salesman.

Then in a change of topic I mentioned that I would not mind getting Singstar for DHs PS3. It was hours later that I realised the inspiration to buy this game came from seeing a similar game on Baby Mama through the week. So it is product placement 1, Lisa 0.

I must admit we are having a ball playing it. My best score has been with the song We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister.
Edited a day later to say that I have since trounced my previous high score with A Little Respect by Erasure, the Scientist by Coldplay and Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams. YEAH!

  1. I sheepishly admit to also wanting this game.

    But I don't have a play station so I can't have one.

    Twisted sister. That's hilarious!

  4. Singstar is SO. MUCH. FUN !!!! I'm desperately trying to get Singstar status on Duran Duran, Ordinary World...

Hmm, you've just made me realise I need another singstar dinner party soon.

  5. I just LOVE SingStar, and I'm that girl that just hogs the microphone because it's so addictive and fun!! Not even my microphone - we don't have it, our neighbour's do. I wonder if they will ever invite us around again after last weekend?

I still have a sore throat (and the other neighbours probably still have sore eardrums).

Gotta say - Dusty's 'Son of a Preacher Man' is my fave...

  6. I love singstar too, but I only play it with the kids. That ensures I will always win.
My best score is on Girls just wanna have fun by Cyndi Lauper.

  7. My daughter and I play it all the time,. We tend to get overly competative with each other on Dolly Partons 'Nine to five'
