Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending a moment in time with my friend and meeting her baby, the recipient of this who at two weeks of age weighs half what my second cherub did at birth.
As someone who has never been to the big hospital, seeing the size of the special care unit came as a bit of a surprise. All those little darlings who have had a harder start to life than most, the loving parents and the dedicated staff left me feeling completely humbled.
Wow! That sounds amazing. I'm going to meet my friends new baby today.
