A friend has asked me to make a pair of legwarmers for her little girl and here are the prototypes I have made while creating a pattern.

I almost want a pair myself.

  2. Arrgggh - 80s flashback!! (or should that be flashdance?? teehee!).

But these are *so* much sweeter than my red-with-gold-glitter pair from 1982. Very funky!

  9. They are so sweet! I'm not surprised you'd like a pair.

confession time: I have clung onto a pair of black legwarmers for years and wear them secretly under my jeans in winter - I love them - nothing like legwarmers for super-coziness!

Have just done a catch up on your blog and have enjoyed it. I love the baby parcel you did for your friend. Beautiful work and such a special gift.

  11. They look great. I have a thing for self striping yarn - it works a treat.

    Well done.
